100 years ago, only about 15 percent of the Iranian population was urban. Most of these were businessmen or craftsman. Iran was on the road which was the so-called Silk Road, and for this reason, large bazaars were built in all the cities of Iran. In this tour we are familiar with the function of old markets and their components. We also visit a number of Isfahan handicraft workshops. Isfahan was recognized by the World Council of Handicrafts in 2015 as the world's leading handicraft city. Then we visit one of the oldest buildings in the city of Isfahan, the Hakim Mosque and its ancient gateway.
