Iran Visa is no more issued as a sticker in the passport. According to the new rule, a Visa Sheet would be issued by the Iranian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and will be stamped for your entry/exit. So your trip to Iran would not be recorded in your passport history.

Iran visa is valid for 3 months from the issue date and after just a single entrance you can stay for 30 days in Iran. You can extend your visa twice, two 30 days at each time.
A minimum of two days is required for most countries citizens to get their Visa. For Americans, Canadians and British citizens it would take at least one month to get the code.

Kish Island and Qeshm Island are two Iranian Beautiful and Touristic Islands that most nationalities can enter and stay for less than 14 days without the requirement of getting Iran Visa.
Unfortunately, this advantage doesn’t include these passport holders: Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Canada, Colombia, India, Iraq, Jordan, Nepal, Pakistan, Somalia, Sri Lanka, the United Kingdom, the United States the Yemen and they have to obtain visa in advance.

All tourists, except citizens of Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Canada, Colombia, India, Iraq, Jordan, Nepal, Pakistan, Somalia, Sri Lanka, the United Kingdom, the United States, and Yeman may stay on Kish Island and Qeshm Island for 14 days or less without obtaining any visa.
Upon their entrance at Kish International Airport, foreign nationals merely need to present their valid passport. You may be asked about the purpose of your visit. Please make sure to bring all verification paperwork, hotel reservations, etc. in case the customs officer makes any further inquiries. After your photograph and fingerprints are taken by officials, your passport will be stamped and you are free to explore Kish island’s numerous attractions for up to 14 days.

If you are a citizen of United States, Canada or United Kingdom, you must purchase a tour package or ask us for a tailor-made package. This is because you must have a booked itinerary with a private guide for the entire duration of your visit.
Once your itinerary is finalized, we will apply for the authorization visa code from Iranian Ministry of Foreign Affairs which will usually take about 30 days to get proceed.
