The celebration of the Sadeh is considered a celebration of cooperation and solidarity of the people, because on this day, everyone helps to gather firewood to start a big fire.
The word Sadeh is interpreted in 3 ways;
1- Sadeh means Hundred, The 100th day of winter and the end of hard winter. From Cheleh Bozorg, which is Yalda night and Mehr was born again, to the Sade night is 40 days, and on this day, fire, which is a symbol of warmth, light and brightness, becomes a means of fighting the devil and the victory of light over it.
2- Date of origin of fire. The mythological aspect of this celebration goes back to Houshang, who "went to the mountains with a hundred companions. A huge snake came up to him and his companions. Houshang threw a stone at the snake. Stone upon stone came and from the collision of two stones, fire appeared and the snake burned. "They reacted to the lighting of fire and called it a Sade."
3-From Sede celebration to Nowruz celebration, there are 50 days and 50 nights (a collection of 100 nights and days).
It is said that the celebration of the Sade has been since the time of Al-Ziyar. But obviously this celebration has been held on the Achaemenes period.You will hear that the celebration of the Sade is a festival for Zoroastrians, but today it is held by both Zoroastrians and others and is considered a national holiday.

Families also bake special bread called Siro and Ash and serve it in the evening with nuts, fruits and drinks.In the evening, everyone gathers and the Zoroastrian priest, dressed in white, goes to the gathering place with a number of young people with torches in their hands. After turning around the fire three times and reciting the fire prayer and Avesta, he fires the harvest from 4 side with the fire brought from fire temple. And then everyone starts eating snacks, jumping over the fire and dancing and dancing.After the whole fire burns, the farmers take the ashes to the agricultural lands and sprinkle them on the ground.
